We started our journey to Leh-Ladakh by taking a lift in a truck. Our journey is quite interesting and challenging, we want to take people to these places through our experiences of exploring India by Hitchhiking. The truck journey is always adventurous, ending in front of Pathar Sahib Gurudwara in Leh.
It's maintained by the Indian army, we didn't take many photos or videos but inside, the Gurudwara was peaceful, after that we had some Langar and chai. It is believed that Guru Nanak ji had rested at this place when he reached Leh and meditated. So we also rested for a while.

As always we reached Leh town in an open Bolero sitting on the back side enjoying the beauty of Ladakh's mountains and sky.

Ladakh is not only for bike riders and adventures but it's also about the mountains, the sky, the people, and the land of Lamas.
After reaching Leh we were kind of lost because towns and cities were not for us but it was almost evening and we couldn’t move to other places. So we thought of finding a place in Leh to pitch our tent, so we tried to move out of the town, again we tried for a lift for around 1 hour. It's hard to get a lift in Leh, we understood that, but luckily God wants us to help, we met this lady I don’t know if humanity had a face it would look like her DOLMA JI, she is a nurse in S N M Hospital Leh, she gave us lift and she understood we are tourist, yea always traveler’s are considered as a tourist but still she asked about us we told our story and told we are trying to find a place to pitch our tent for a night.

She was surprised and said "How will you find a place in this town kids, let me think something" and that was surprising for us as she said, "Can you people go and stay in my home, I have my grand-daughter alone there you people can accompany her and stay".
That was so shocking for us that she was kind and brave enough to ask us, that eventually we need someplace to stay, so we agreed to that and she guided us towards her home as she had night duty and no time to drop as to her home, so we got down in leh main market and again tried for lift towards her home, this time also it took almost 1 hour to get a lift.
We finally got a lift from Mr. Dorjey, again he also asked everything about us and we shared our story, he also talked to Dolma ji to know the exact location and dropped us on the main road.
From there, we had to walk a bit, before that he said he was running a homestay visit and stay whenever we wanted, that was so kind of him.
So we got down and walked towards the home as instructed by Dolma ji, her granddaughter also came out to receive us, she is in 10th class and she is soo cute.
After reaching home she showed me the bathroom and everything, we were so happy to meet her and we settled ourselves there, cooked some food for us, and rested.
But still, I was wondering how the lady trusted us and helped us for the stay ?. Who knows !!!
NEXT MORNING,
The mornings in the mountains are special, we are lucky to witness and experience the wonders of nature in the Himalayas, there are some miracles that happen every morning in these mountain ranges.
We got up, and after freshening up I prepared some breakfast and coffee for the three of us because Dolma ji hadn’t come yet, so we had breakfast and she went to school.

Finally, Dolma ji came from her night shift,
I made coffee for her and we talked about our next travelling plans.
Then after all these discussions we cooked food together, and we did gardening with her, she was super energetic and a great lady I had never met in my life, and was brave to trust us.

The next morning we moved out from her home towards our next journey to Nubra Valley.
Thanking her can’t be enough, in the hope of meeting her again we moved out to our next Destination.
